Man This Song brings back bittersweet memories for me. World On Wheels isnt just a Metaphor used it here it also represents The Former Roller Skating rink(World On Wheels was closed down for good in June 2013 due to bankruptcy and so called urban(read corporate) development. As a former roller skater/dancer turned longtime DJ at world on wheels (14 years) I can tell you that in the 80's and even part of the 90's, W.O.W was a hip hop hotbed for Los Angelinos as many rap artists have been through those doors because it was a hip hop rite of passage so to speak (along with KDAY 1580 the very first 24 hour hip hop station). from LA Dream Team(west coast pioneers) and world Class wreaking Crew(Dr. Dre's First Group) to Ice T, Eazy E, N.W.A even LL Cool J and a host of others! It was the place to be but it wasnt always safe especially in the late 80's where going to W.O.W was like playing Russian roulette(Car jackings, gang shootouts, beat downs etc.) which was understandable considering it was situated between 3 separate Gang neighborhoods but alot has changed in mid city. And for the guy who referred to it as ratchet on wheels, if you had really been a regular there you would have known better than to say something foolish like that Truth be told, Sherman Square(Reseda,CA) SKate Junction(West Covina,CA) and Skate Depot (Cerritos/Long Beach,CA) were more ratchet than World On Wheels in later years (90's and beyond). But Big Ups To Dialated (Rakaa,Evidence,DJ Babu) for the flashback! BTW Evidence handles the majority of Production for the crew not Babu!

saying "Lil' wayne is whack compared to DP" is like saying "Justin Beiber is whack compared to Bob Marley" 1. There's nothing similar/fimiliar or related about them or their music genre (despite what you think Hip Hop encompasses) 2. Not only so they do opposite genres of music, they do opposite qualities of opposite genres of music i.e. Wayne does the dummy masses/kids while DP does the minority (real heads and original hip-hop fans) AND 3. Don't compare a roller skate to a corvette.
