Here in Brazil we have their names dubbed too... But I prefer the original. And we have the openings dubbed too, but here on youtube have some fandubs of the songs in brasilian portuguese and they're very epic... The brazilian TV could use the fandubs, so much more perfect than the "digirap" that they made ¬¬13 years ago

I agree more or less. some time ago i prefer to watch things in my language, but when i started to form part of the internet i lost the interest in the dub versions (the big reason was the horrible work of dub that the company does) Compare Dragon Ball Z & Fate Stay Night in the latin american dub.. the first was excellent in comparison with the original, but the 2nd... meh ¬¬ I really hate the voices in much dubs, like two and a half men... the original idiom is good, in comparsion to the dub13 years ago

I agree on the soundtrack. I just don't like watching stuff in japanese when I could be watching it in English and understand what they're saying. So was the english dub the only one to actually have they're names dubbed? (Tachi = Tai, Yamato = Matt, Takeru = T.K. etc)13 years ago

Because of the horrible work that some dubs do... i dont like personally the voice that wormmon have in the english version, but im completed fascinated with the original. Other reason is the music... in the english dub they use a rap/hip hope for openings and evolutions theme, contrary to the original that have a good ost... Different people, different opinions (im from south america, where i watched digimon adventure/02/tamers/frontier with the original sountrack & with openings dubbed! XP)13 years ago

Point taken, but I still think tailmon is a stupid name. Gatomon just sounds cooler. The dubs have contradicted before though. (i.e. Bearmon and Kumamon) I do realize that some places used the original names. I just have friends that prefer to watch anime in Japanese than English, It just doesn't make sense to me. I grew up loving the dub, and still do.13 years ago

Sorry, I do understand where you`re coming from. Personally I love japanese music. It just sounds better and the lyrics seem to flow so smoothly. I just don`t understand why people prefer to hear japanese talking and read subs rather than watch the dub. Plus....Tailmon?.....Really?13 years ago

Qué diferencia entre la voz de Hawkmon en el orignal y la latina, que parece medio retrasado xD (Me encanta, pero es MUCHA diferencia jaja) AMÉ la voz de Gatomon. Es preciosa! La de Hikari es muy linda también, pero sigue pareciendo una nena de 8 años xDU14 years ago
