Actually its roQuefort, with a K-sound just like in rock. For that reason me and my firends call it Hard Rock Cheese because it reads like Rock Fort.

I may have had the former - or, several kinds like that. The strongest was Roguefort, named for Roguefort, France, where it can exclusively be produced. They let it sit in a series of caves that have a unique temperature and level of moisture.
