Agreed both versions have a unique flavor to them.I was listening to the Mad Violinist and thought they'd be an interesting mix and possibly a sick collabo between the two of them.He's amazing in his own right but missing that amazing voice that can flow with his style. I think they would be a match made in heaven but what do I know I just hate seeing two amazing artist not getting the respect they should.At least a Jam session would be sweet if nothing else,to see them play off of each other.

Bought two great albums over the weekend. "The Ghost you Gave me" by Three, a rock group in the same vein as Coheed and Cambria (I am terrible at labeling genres, don't tar me if you don't call this rock). It's a lot heavier than their last album, but I'm enjoying it so far.The other album is "Castor, The Twin" by Dessa, which is hip-hop/rap/spoken word. This is a Remix album, but what she did is rework the songs over what sounds like a live Jazz set. Amazing. I'll post a link to this one, and then another link to Three after. What new music are you enjoying?

The original version was okay, but I like this one so much better...one of the best surprises on the new cd :) Really the only interpretation I didn't like was "The Chaconne," unfortunately. It was my favorite off her original cd, but I just can't get into the drumroll introduction on the Castor version.
