Isn't it great to see how life beginsThings may change, let the joy beginCan you hear this new life cryingBreathe it out, it will be worth itShow me your newborn smile(Please tell me why)I don't wanna hold you(Please tell me why)I don't wanna see you'Cause even your smile hurtsOh, it hurts like hellIsn't it good to see how life beginsThere's no sin and there's no crimeDown where I am there's no bitter end at allThis bitterness is endless, keeps going on and onI don't wanna hold you, I don't wanna see youEven birth can bear disgraceI don't wanna hold you, I don't wanna see youOr even the smile upon your faceI fear my heart and fear my soul and all the things that are unknownThere's a chance things will turn wrong, my friendFar too fast I'm losing ground, well, let's face it here and nowYou're not welcome you should knowI fear my heart and fear my soulLife goes on it surely willWithout me it will witherWill I ever see light againWill I ever see light againOh, life goes onI don't wanna hold youI don't wanna see youMy tear of joy turned into grief(I don't wanna stand it anymore)Down where I am that's where darkness rulesThe silence shall be only friend

A metal song with an important message. Down's Syndrome children are so through no fault of their own.

This acoustic guitar in this song sounds a bit like the acoustic parts of "The River Flows Frozen" by Eternal Tears of Sorrow.

About a child with downs? I was under the impression this was a song about Mordred (The bastard, incestuous, heretical child of King Arthur and his sister.) and Arthur's response to the kid.

Is this song about abortion? If not could someone explain it to me?

Most of this album is references to great works of fiction. Most of this album is a concept album to Stephen King's Dark Tower series.

That's exactly what I think about BG and DAW songs. Cheers mate!

Personally, I think that's part of his charm. Most of "his" songs (both BG and DAW) require an inquisitive mind to fully understand. And in my case, it has given me a broader view to the world. Maybe that is what he really wants. Give us some kind of "quest" to find out what the songs are about, rather than giving it all away at the start.
