that's the thing, i don't listen to black metal, just heard enough to know that it's mostly blast beats and 1/32 notes-a-plenty. i don't "hate" it, but i would prefer not to listen to it. if you can suggest some good mid-tempo (as far as black metal goes) bands, i'd love to check em out. i do really enjoy bathory and venom, if you wanna call them black metal. lyrically they're straight up black metal, but musically i don't think so

It depends on the band, you just need to find the right ones. There are bands like that in all genres though. My favorite black metal isn't the fastest, it's just the most musically pleasing to me.

the only thing i cant unterstand is how such an awesome band release the album with this stupid cover xD as i listen the music i expected medieval battles, dragons or knights on it :D but you guys know anyways the music is still godly
