One of the few American black metal bands (Profanatica, Havohej, Averse Sefira, Absu are others) worth mentioning, Demoncy took the savage sound of early Incantation and Havohej and injected a subversive melodic sense. The result is foreboding and unsettling yet evocative of a will for more existential struggle in life itself.

@conservationist666 You're right!! One of the only American bands that matter. You can take Averse Sefira off that list as well as all the other shitty black and death metal bands from Texas. Too many to name.
