When the car is off, u can turn it back "on". But it doesn't have a soul so it cant get turned back "on" without its master or us... Without us the engine would have never existed to be-able to turn on.....without God we wouldn't exist, we wouldn't have a soul and a consciousness....

The same place the running engine goes when you turn the car off. Life is a mechanical process. We are only alive when a highly complex series of mechanisms function in a certain way; just as a car is only "on" when its complex series of mechanisms function in a certain way. When you turn the car off, the state of "on" doesn't go anywhere. The car simply ceases to be "on". When I'm dead, my state of "living" doesn't go anywhere. I'll simply cease to be "alive".

#3 Proverbs 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes. ;though this verse seems to absolutely contradict the previous verse, it does not. The words "according to his folly" mean to answer his question as his folly deserves in so plain a way as to expose it, and to shame him and bring him to a better mind.

#2 Proverbs 26:4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him. Do not lower yourself to the fool's level by arguing with him as if he was sensible, so that you are not led into a trap yourself. (Jesus never answer foolish questions by his antagonist like they had hoped He would. He always gave an unexpected response thereby putting to silence the adversary.)

I thought u were a christian for 20 years of your life but yet u dont know much about the bible. If you read and learn about the scriptures u can better understand what the verses are saying and their meanings. Let me give u an example since u probably cant give me a good one. Proverbs 26:5 and Proverbs 26:4. these are two good ones that seem to be contradicting each other but lets look at the meanings of these verses.

You'll get a good hour or two of enjoyment identifying and verifying all of the glaring contradictions within the text. It's a fine way to spend an afternoon. Cheers. :-)

Fortunately, I've read the entire book several times. At first it was a moral obligation because I was a believer, but after 20 years of faithful service, I began to read it even more closely from an objective viewpoint. I've read your Bible more than enough times to know that it contradicts itself on more than one occasion. I have more than enough ammunition to make an educated, unbiased judgment about your holy book. And I judge that your holy book is horse shit, along with your doctrine.

It's amazing how atheists take a single verse and make a complete judgement about Christianity. Try reading more than just one verse. If I read one chapter out of a novel, could I know how the book will end? I can make ASSUMPTIONS about the rest of the book, but I won't know until I read it.

It's always so much more convenient to pull the "context" or "true meaning" card, isn't it? The Bible says your god creates evil. Period. It gives you absolutely no reason to believe it meant anything else except EVIL. Stop bending over backwards trying to excuse the verses which are right in front of your face. You'll only break your back and make yourself look like an idiot.
