Christ hasn't lost his faith in you, friend. :) I grew up without faith, never wanted nor ever thought I would have faith in anything, in fact I rejected the very existence of a higher being and believed myself to be "logical" and "intelligent". But God showed Himself to me in ways undescribable. Don't give up, friend. Remember, God continues to pursue you even if you are running in the other direction.

Don't give up, its not by coincidence the word 'solid' is in your nick. Bin there, done a lot of..(lets call it rubbish :/ ) but -even- if you lost your faith, God didn't -and doesn't- loses His faith, certainly not in you. You probably know it's written that: He will finish what He has started. Alas, so watered down by all those 'good' christians using it when they don't know what to say. But: IT IS TRUE For those who use it 'inappropriately: if you don't know what to say; don't say anything!

@Misleader Wonderful that you said that. God just shared with me in my heart. "It's your job to be a friend.... that's IT.... " I don't have to say anything. I don't have to share anything... I just have to be there. And people will know me because Jesus is living in me, in my heart. And my friends who don't know me will ask, "What does this guy have? There's something.... I want it." Isn't that amazing?? It's a personal relationship... a friendship with Jesus Christ.

This is the only song I loved singing in choir at church. It was the younger kids that got to sing the chorus. Ah, 5th grade was great. I've changed a lot. But this song always makes me feel better when I'm sad.
