Supposedly it's "Gloria In Excelsis Deo", but only that line matches the lyrics of that chant. The rest, I have no idea.

After "In Excelsis Deo", the female voice seems to be repeating two very similar lines. I think the second is "soo see te nah pa sso mee". I have no idea what that is though, and I tried searching for it in different spellings. I speak 2 romantic languages fluently and a couple more passingly and I don't recognize that. I know te is thee, but other than that, I have no idea. I can't even tell if it is latin.

I know what you mean, I'd like to know what they're saying too. The latin lyrics of In Excelsis Deo are widely available on the internet, but I can only recognize that first line in the actual vocals. I think it may actually be the greek version. Those lyrics are online too, but only in the greek alphabet, which I can't read. I can't find a romanized transliteration anywhere. I've gone over the opening of this song time and again, but I just can't make out anything other than In Excelsis Deo.

Direct translation from Latin to English is "Glory to God on high".

I wish someone who spoke fluent Latin would translate the chorus at the beginning of the song. I know the Gloria in excelsis Deo is part of the Gregorian Chant. I would like to know the rest of it though.
