Saw these guys at the Grog Shop back in September 2014. This was the opening song. Bradley would not come out at all to help the others set up whatsoever. I watched for him the entire time; not once. With his hair covering pretty much the entirety of his face, he evoked such a haunting atmosphere the time he did show himself. Beautiful music he makes, but I can't help but try to sympathize for him while listening to a lot of it...I know that he has dealt with very invasive self esteem issues and anxiety for practically his whole life. Poor guy. It must feel so liberating to be out on stage playing this stuff and, for a moment, not being gawked at (Marfan's Syndrome). People are cruel and it eats others up. I hope all is okay with this guy and he has climbed out of that pit of darkness and realized just a smidge of how much he has offered the world.

I never pretend that it was bad. I love both of them except that they are both really different. Since that BOC is more of a analog/electronic/instrumental and Deerhunter is more of a noise/pop sound. Their sounds are miles apart and I would never think of BOC when I listento Deerhunter. Just a weird comparison for me.

So true. First Deerhunter song I heard was this song and expected the rest of the album to follow suit. The rest is decent but this song stands out from the bunch by far in my opinion.
