To the other side of the earth, for this beautiful song, fell greetings. To a beautiful woman. The song has a history before 1945 between Germany and Australia. A Historical piece. Let it never be forgotten. Kalle Karl-Heinz Pieck

Thank you so much for putting in the effort to share this with us. If you haven't done so already, get out of your house and share this with everyone outside on the streets, in bars, cafes, parks. For those souls willing to listen and especially for those that do no want to.

You do know the song is about a delusional loner who calls his bed roll, "Matlida", which he talks to. Steals a sheep and evades arrest by killing himself as he believes that is a better option than spending some time behind bars and being kept rent free by the Government. Yet, you're trying to sell it by singing in a sexy way. Maybe an equally tasteful song about Kurt Cobain doing himself in? You'd be naked covered in blood and brains in the video. I'd watch that to the end hoping for some V.

Beautifully sang and I love the guitar tunes. Well done Deobrah, bless you. You make us all proud Aussies. I love the strumming and would love to learn that tune.

Just for fun, I am going to point out that, if your facts are accurate, the guitar was made the same year that "Gimme a Break!" left prime-time!
