I heard him play this last night in Salt Lake City. He told us the story, how he came to write the song. He was in the town square in Charlottesville, or some place like that, he came across these crazy people, cross between punks and Greek Orthodox types! I loved how he put a positive spin on the deal, they were holding up signs that said "Death to the World"...he talked about the strap on, and yes, he sometimes likes to think of himself as a big dildo (that's what he said). The hoser part, I think means killing people, kind of goes with the theme of the song. It was an amazing show. Or course it could mean...nylon stockings!
