Let me put the record straight and clear up any confusion. Death sentence came from Northampton, I was the drummer (steve) my brother played lead guitar (mick), on bass (glen) and lead mouth (Dave). We were signed by lightbeat records.. We cut 1 E.P.. Death and pure distraction ... And featured on a compilation call Total anarchy... There have been a number of bands with the same name that followed after us, but we were the originals... Watch this space, we are re releasing ... I was shocked to find our material still lived on and had a substantial following .. 30+ yrs on and we can still be heard.. Dave our lead mouth passed away last year, so we are gonna dedicate our re releases to his family... Cheers steve - death sentence

He''s talking about Death Sentence the Australian Band I think they were from Perth not sure may have been Melbourne. Any way I remember them. Still have one of theIr releases ( If Pain Mends My Mind) looks like a garage job cover . I will upload it.

Is this the Australian band Death Sentence from the 80's? I was in a band of the same name at the same time and we received all their stickers one day in the mail. Apparently the singer had died and they didn't need them anymore. Sad but true.
