Death of Lovers is a group composed of members of the wonderful Shoegaze bands Swan Dive, Whirr and Nothing, the Gothic Post-Punk group Night Sins and the incredible Blackgaze project Deafheaven. Together, these talented and experienced musicians produce a beautiful amalgamation of Shoegaze and Post-Punk with a bit of Goth thrown in for added atmosphere. Their debut EP, Buried Under a World of Roses, is four tracks of haunting, effects-drenched bliss that is almost impossible to stop listening to.
