Op 10 augustus 2014 is Lida (Lydia) Iburg (1945) overleden. Zij had in de jaren '70 een kortstondige romance met zanger Dean Friedman in Londen. Jaren later, Lida was toen producente bij het VARA-TV programma van Sonja Barend, trad Dean Friedman daarin op met het door hem geschreven nummer 'Lydia' dat toen een hit was in de UK. Voor beiden was het een grote verrassing elkaar weer te ontmoeten en voor Lida extra bijzonder dat Friedman het nummer, dat hij aan de rand van het bed van zijn toenmalige vriendin had gecomponeerd en voor haar speciaal had geschreven, op plaat had uitgebracht. Het nummer is op Lida Kombrink-Iburg op 10 augustus bij haar uitvaart gedraaid.
