Aah something about the way he handles that guitar.. irreplaceable! Although his purity is diminishing, another kind of effect is increasing in his way of playing (just compare the cleanliness of the Pulse concerts and this for example), but the rawness has a beauty that makes it more than up for that! And that Strat, aaaah.... lovely!

David Gilmour is looking happier and healthier here than he did in 2008 on this show.

When David Gilmour solos it's always epic. Looking at Crosby's expression he agrees.

Yes, on the harmony part that's what you want. Manzanera could have been a little louder for his short solo break, though.

I've noticed that when there's two guitars soloing at the same time,it's done to give a sort of "layering" effect to the main solo, which carries the main melody. If both of them were at the same volume, the main melody would be lost, and you wouldn't be able to distinguish it from both guitar players. It's even done that way (one solo above the other) in the studio recording. Plus, it is David Gilmour solo group. He's boss.

I think Gilmour secured top 3 guitar gods of all time. The voodoo child, the master of time, and the cream of the crop.

I think David Gilmour deserves a spot in the 5 best guitar gods of history category with Hendrix, Clapton, SRV, Fripp

I love this, a great performance by Gilmour. The only bitch I have is "Phil Manzanera's" guitar solo's volume is switched down so low. I've heard this done in other concerts.? Whats the problem David...can you not accept a guitar duo with another great guitarist, on equal volume.?
