Something bothers me a little when they use a picture from a different decade on a song....like, this looks like 80s Bowie yet this song is from 2003. Just a minor pet peeve. The song is beautiful, however, so thanks for uploading.

What a great song. What a horrible picture you chose for this video.

To be correct, Max Payne should remind you of David Bowie! But I know what you mean. I take it you're talking about the music at the beginning of the game.

You forgot to mention that he is one of the most influential artists (or so i believe) and is one of those people that can do many things, instead on concentrating on one thing. He can sing (obviously), he can act.... He's is just brilliant!

@rogerxwilliams Um... I REALLY don't think so. "Outside" is very literal in its theme, meant to have been part of a cycle explaining what everyone was going on about (it's looking at the events from "outside"). I'd say the "pictures on my hard drive" are just garden-variety porn, with a little bit of a highlight on the fact that the line would have been gibberish to most when his fame (FAME!) was peaking.

@musicminded64 Not many would. It's from his most recent album, which is easily the best since Scary Monsters, maybe even the best since the Spiders years, but pretty much went by unnoticed except to fans and critics.

@rogerxwilliams That is the first underlying concept somebody has ever pointed out that makes sense. Bravo Dr.Williams.

When Joel Craig ask to Bowie if this song come from a negative mood he ansewer "i want simply capture one soul condition, this totally sense of isolation that one feel when seems to not have bond with the universe I've felt often this deep sensations of desertion and i can live it again immediately, like an actor that make a personage After a lot esperience i dont need to be in a situation of melancoly or mental confusion induced by the drug for write about it is enough remember."
