I like this version better than the jazzy one (while that one is also awesome, this one sounds like it could have been in Outside and I fucking love that album)

The original song Bowie recorded for, “Nothing Has Changed” is surprisingly soft, almost a ballad of sorts. This new Sue is dark and gritty, and if it weren’t for Bowie’s vocals, it’d be extremely different from anything on this record. This album is so amazing, a beautiful swan song indeed.

The melody is "so close" to Milton Nascimento's "Cais" that anyone else would be accused of plagiarism. But being done by David Bowie sounds like a genius thing... shame.

genuinely unimpressed with this album, gives off a sort of "shit I'm dying quick gotta make something good" feel to it, up until this song. This song right here, it's incredible.

Although it's a bit sad, Bowie's death and the mourning of all his fans was what made me listen to Blackstar (the song). Then I slowly approached the rest of the songs in the album and the previous ones. Now I'm a total fan. I love the passion this man put in his work. Rest in Peace.

Bowie must've been listening to a lot of Swans.
