Yup; that's Seattle...the Gateway to CHINA. University of Washington seats (x3 the normal cost) are given to students from.....CHINA. Waterfront Real Estate Property.....Sold to CHINA. The Columbia Tower (largest business tower in Seattle).......Sold to CHINA. Old district buildings......CHINA. Oh yeah, they love them some really lil tiny, really skinny China girls around here. Real soon you can remake this video in Seattle."Oh baby just you shut your mouth.....Shhhhhhhhhhhhh"

"I'll give you eyes of blue"I hope that refers to his eyes, and how she'll own his eyes as in looking at her;and not as to he can promise to change her eyes blue? Why would she want that? She doesn't need blue eyes, they're not superior; It could be the fact that at the time David Bowie for some reason had really racist and Nazi views at the time (for which he has apologised in various interviews)If you listen to what the song is about, this song really loses its value. It's about a Vietnamese girl who was the girlfriend of Jacques Higlin - she rejected Iggy Pop who was infatuated - not a girl from China, and threatening to ruin everything she is by publicly destroying her for rejecting a guy is horrible O.o''China girl is no longer played on radio due to it's potential racism, stereotyping of Asians as 'all Chinese' and so on so forth. Some of the lyrics are strange, such as 'swastikas' and 'blue eyes'. I'm not sure if this is to do with the projection of Western ideals onto Asia from the time of WW2 - or it could be the fact that at the time David Bowie was a Nazi supporter. There's a lot you can read into song lyrics when truly they don't mean a thing.
