At first when the video first started I thought this was John Mellencamp because of his face and hairstyle

If you ever visit Rockfield and wind up in the pub, Dave can occasionally be found there and he WILL have a beer with you.  he's one of the nicest guys I have ever met (music or otherwise) and his brother Geoff is pretty cool too  (he lives over thepond)  Mx

Yes this was written by Bruce, I have Dave's version on a 45. he did it in his post-Rockpile era during the 80s. I never heard Bruce's version, thought he wrote it for Edmunds to do. As you see here the man was an accomplished vocalist and guitarist. I saw him several times live and it was always a great one. A good memory from a time when everything was just a little bit simpler.

I think both Dave's and Bruce's version are great, I just like Dave's a bit better.
