Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mich & Tich were an English based quintet, among the top pop bands in the mid 1960s. They performed songs by their managers, Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley and achieved many top ten UK hits, including "Hold Tight", "Zabadak", "Save Me," and the chart-topper, "Legend of Xanadu."
"Hold Tight" was a hit in the UK & Denmark charting at No: 4 in both countries.

I picked up a cassette of theirs in the '90s, just because of their dorky 'group' name and was surprised to learn that I was familiar with (and liked) so many of their hits. Good music doesn't have to be artificially sweetened.11 years ago
