Yes, Ron personally sent me an early recording he did of this song. He's a great guy and told me a few stories about a falling out between himself, Mike Smith and Dave Clark. He had made up with Mike just before Mike passed on. Ron has written many great songs. I covered and arranged a few he personally sent me.

This song is credited to Dave Clark & Mike Smith & Because to Dave alone, your probably right about Ron Ryan , Mike Smith said that Dave always credited himself as a writer on their songs and took little part musically in the recordings after mid 64..

I dig this beat with it's pleading vocals from MIKE SMITH....THAT stomping drum beat that they made so popular back then is really a trademark in a way in that it shows the drum beats as a lead instrument....NOT just here but in many of their tunes........"ALL OF THE TIME" is a HIT....nice guitar and keyboard solo....simple but effective.....Joe Nania a.k.a.
