If this isn't one of the best oldies and a real cool song to dance to, I don't know what is.

I heard that it was Dick Clark's wife who suggested they change the song title to "At The Hop"

So cool to see and hear a real live performance of this! Almost everything on TV was lip-synced back then. Awesome!

Al your sensitivity is just oozing out of your comments and also incorrect, Danny did "commit suicide" in Parker, Arizona. You have no idea what drives someone to it and I wish you nor anyone ever have to directly deal with a loved one doing something like that. If you do maybe then you may choose your observations better. Why can't you just enjoy the music and video as rare as they are.

Fabulous live performance by Danny & the Juniors! A shame that lead singer, Danny Rapp, blew his brains out in Vegas in 1983. Although they were thought to be an Italian quartet, they were comprised of Irish and Italian guys. Wonderful group live ... miss 'em a lot. Listen to a B-side of theirs 'Sometimes (When I'm All Alone)' to hear their beautiful harmony.

I think it's great that this has no dislikes. At school we have to dance to this for our dance assessment. It's great!
