I found a YouTube video several months ago of Travis Meeks playing Dancing With The Wind solo and I was mesmerized by the performance. I knew immediately that I wanted to cover this incredible version of the song instead of the album version because of the unpredictability and raw power of Travis 'solo' performance. Here it is in all it's glory.

Your covers are seriously so good. I've been trying to learn a majority of days of the new music and the tabs just aren't as accurate as you. Any way you can direct me towards good tabs or make your own? It would help tremendously!! Rock on man!!10 years ago

Well I have figured out the tuning and the very beginning, but it's a lot more difficult than it sounded... I may have to come back to it another time haha. I figure them out usually by ear and by watching videos of Travis Meeks himself playing the song and using it as help. Occasionally if something is really challenging me, I'll consult a tab to figure out a part here or there but about most of it is learned by ear. I've been stumped on Bring Yourself actually. Would love to learn that one.11 years ago

So how do you figure these songs out? I've been learning them from watching your covers since it's so easy to see where your fingers are here. I want to learn Bring Yourself, but it's hard to find any decent footage and I'm afraid I'm not very good at figuring it out by ear. I've only been playing for about a year.11 years ago
