I'm pretty sure it's about all the tricks & gimmicks in advertising these days and how they are always trying to get us to buy more. "If it keeps the hair our of my eyes pack it up and send it home". If you watch the music video maybe it will make more sense. I could be wrong, but that's my take on it.

he's one of those artists that im hooked on... all it took was one song and i havent stopped since then. also, he is a real person... which is a lot more than i can say for a lot of artists these days, hes funny and he knows of the troubles that we human beings face on a daily basis. its not about booze and bitches, its real.. i respect that.

In the booklet of the album Dan says it was performed first at a gala for an advertising group. They asked his most upbeat number. "It was a laugh-cry moment". That's what Dan has to say. I'm not to sure about the meaning though.
