My parents absolutely ADORED this song/Dan Hill. One of the early-few memories I have, is sitting on the porch with my parents when this song first came out in '77. I was barely 3 years old at the time, and understandably,...I unintentionally/unassumingly "changed the words". My parents BUSTED OUT LAUGHING, and as it was repeated to me through the years, the lyrics that I had "sung" were,..."I wanna' hold you, 'till the FURNACE...SUB-SUBS"....lol. Nevertheless...thanks for the wonderful music Mr. Hill. My dad was "called home" many years ago; mom's still around, thank God. They LOVE[D] your music, as do I and millions of others.
