Saw Dan for the first time at Carnegie Hall NYC in 1979. Solo. Came out and opened up with Netherlands. Wow. What a show. What a memory...

It was wonderful to hear Dan Fogelberg sing when his voice was in it's prime! Of course, he kept growing as a fantastic songwriter and musician, but by the first time I saw him in 1985, and later, 1991, and 1997, he had had his tonsils taken out-that got infected, often--and he lost this higher tenor voice he had in 1976. Thanks for sharing this great fine! I had heard Dan on the radio about 1 year earlier, in 1975, for my first time! I heard:To The Morning", and knew I had to find out who sung this beautiful song!!!! Wow - This is akin to finding The Holy Grail! Tim - as a Dan fan of over 40 yrs and since Homefree, this is the best group of videos one could have hoped for. I honestly did not know any pre-Netherlands live video existed !! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks...May I ask - where did it come from...it is a superb professional shooting. Greg Palumbo. I would love it if the entire Netherlands album live had been shot. Very much, Miss Dan Our Man - who became a large part of my life for 4 decades, much like the Beatles, James Taylor, Bruce and the Eagles. (Good Company!!)
