he WAS with planet Funk for a while. I recently heard their new lead singer, and the band is just not the same without Dan. I was really disappointed when I heard them live, but then i found Dan Black's solo works and my enthusiasm was restored!!!

@SAMUELSAAVEDRA1 I see what your saying, im actually one of those people who listens to just about anything from orchestrated to the classics and etc. ... i was just speaking for my area which is mainly rap and hip hop and very little variety, every club i go to is nothing but rap and hip hop... i guess im basically saying is that im tired of the same stuff. by the way im going to listen to some chinese violin now that you suggested it.
