Well he couldn't fuck up like that too many times and still be highly sought after. A good session player pays attention,and flows with what the leader does -even if it's not what they rehearsed. A good player would've pulled it off so no one would've even known that there was a mistake,but he didn't care.He was more concerned with himself looking good than Curtis or the song. He's a douche -as his crappy,soul-less playing and his smug stage face would suggest.
