I realize now that you wrote this a long time ago... but maybe you're still interested in knowing that (I believe) he he plays 4 32nd notes on the kick starting on the + of 2 and, starting on beat 3 and leading into beat 1 he plays the following as 16th note triplets (sn=snare t= tom k=kick c=cymbal) sn t sn k k t sn t k k c sn. Hope this helps.

@reynoldsofski it's a very natural-feeling beat to play on guitar(and I would assume drums), it's just sped up a lot. I mean, I recognized it was the same as bleed, but it was applied in a different way. You used to syncopate, whereas when they use it, it's more of a rhythmically technical riff. I might be a bit off on my terminology, but I tried to articulate my thoughts correctly lol. I've loved Viatrophy ever since Chronicles started getting somewhat popular and I will continue to. :]

There are only so many drum beats that are sensible enough to use in a song. Unlike guitar, where there are numerous riffs, combinations, and patterns that can be made. So don't say this guy is 'stealing someone elses work'
