This song doesnt even rhyme most of the time and it's still just a masterpiece. Its sad no one in our generation will recreate the feeling this conveys...

Does anyone else feel like this song explains their plight with anxiety and depression? That's kind of where I'm at with it. I had to take a good long hard look into myself in order to get healthy, but this song reminds me of how strong I am. Sometimes music resonates in a way others may or may not understand. Relevance is within the listener. That's what makes music great! ❤️

I think this version of the song has a lot of power to it as so often songs are stagnant; a song that represented a songwriter's frame of mind once might not match up years later as they continue to play it. Here, in a potent and somewhat saddening turn the Counting Crows morph this song to not just be an evolution of what the song originally was, but almost a sorrowful commentary on the naivete of that kind of unbridled hunger for fame that the first version represented.

I work in a bar and we have a regular who goes by the name "Mr.Jones." We literally sit and talk about the other people in the bar and buy each other drinks. Somehow, I feel that these are some very memorable moments in my life.
