For everyone complaining about the tempo, try playing the 1st trumpet part!! Also, so much purity and beauty in the sound of this trumpet section! Truly wonderful!..and yes I wish it didn't cut out in the middle of the piece.....

Heard on the way to school this morning...*Fanfare for the Common Man* is a musical work by American composer Aaron Copland. The piece was written in 1942 for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra under conductor Eugene Goossens. It was written in response to the US entry into World War II and was inspired in part by a famous 1942 speech] where vice president Henry A. Wallace proclaimed the dawning of the "Century of the Common Man".

Please either take this down, or mention in the description that you interrupt the piece before the ending.

I first remember hearing this on the original Iron Chef Japan. You can hear right when the chairman says "ALLEZ CUISINE." and they would run up to get the theme ingredient. You could here it in the background. In some episodes, they didn't have the Fanfare for the Common Man theme, but most of the time, they did.

What turns #QT on?Well, I need love and I need lots of it. I need reassurance, kindness, endless patience, to be told I'm good looking even though everyone calls me an old hag.I find it hard to love #Humanity now ... they are so arrogant and up themselves, I wonder if it's worth it? Perhaps we should just all die out and crumble away without any fan fare? (for the common man)

The BBC Proms are some of the best performances of works to ever be broadcast - no pretence and the excitement of entertainment always!

Too fast.Should be like a giant creature waking from sleep. It's not about the notes; it's about the space in between.

Why is it that bloggers make complete arses of themselves when it comes to commenting on classical music? All they need is to conduct a Google Search about the music in question. But, rather than taking the time, they engage in stupid comments.
