Lascio parlare Simon Raymonde: "The last song we released. It's called Touch Upon Touch. It doesn't appear on any of the studio albums so it's not that well known or easy to find, but we all were excited about it as we were writing it. It's a good way to bow out."

Oh no it's happening again - hearing another Cocteau's song for the first time and I start to turn to mist and slip through walls

@ FaithRTronzThe comments that were left about that were not specifically aimed at this particular song. They were talking about cocteau twins songs overall, and how Liz Fraser veers into Glossolalia...

Also, the last song they ever released. It is a masterpiece, IMO.

this isn't Glossolalia - this is Mandarin. Cocteau Twins wrote the song for Chinese artist Faye Wong.

People...please! if you love this BAND....you are blessed ! You have the intellectual and spiritual advanced gifts that other's of lower capabilities do not and can not relate to!! Cocteau Twins are sort of like "pearls before swine"! When someone with negative remarks comes along pertaining to this band, just realize they are the optimal ass-holes !...they know not what they hear, and should be caste back to the simpleton kindergarten class that they belong in! and apparently escaped from!

If you used a proper source to ascertain the meaning - such as the Encyclopedia Britannica - you would see that it comes from the Greek - According to the New Testament, glossolalia first occurred among the followers of Jesus at Pentecost, when “they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts of the Apostles 2:4). I've been speaking in tongues now for around 26 years...nothing imaginary about that. Praise the Lord

No! YOUR comment comes across like you read stuff without really taking in what's been said. I can tell the difference between both singers perfectly, what I actually said was 'MUSICALLY' there's no difference, hence the karaoke debate about a year or 2 ago. And while I know the history etc behind the Cocteau Twins, I don't know nor care if there is ANY behind Faye's Wrong, but i'm sure it's not complexed. Understand this, i'm just repeating what others have already said, FW is NOT Liz Fraser.

You're statement sounds like your completely incompetent of the complex history behind both artists. It appears as if your "tone deaf" if you can't distinguished between the Liz and Faye - Plus; I'll supplement my comment by saying that musicians who sincerely respect each other, complement theselves by singing each others songs - it's not a disrespectful act. It would be helpful if "all" people would understand musical history, artistic intension, and progression. Tace atque abi…Ciao

This ambient mysticism..this jazzy pop ballad just fills me with subtle sensuality and engrossing skin pimples. I love her voice. I love this band. I love this song. I know you all do too.
