Beginning of the title track sounds an awful lot like the start of 'Cities in Dust' by Siouxsie and the Banshees (I'm aware that 'Cities' came out three years later). Fraser's entirely original vocals gave the Cocteau Twins a unique appeal, so they could never be dismissed as Banshees copyists; but I can well understand why comparisons were made at the start of the Cocteau Twins' career regarding their sound. I imagine the Banshees thought, well we might as well *borrow back* a bit of their sound for 'Cities in Dust'...
