I'm probably the biggest U2 fan on the planet & I think Clay does a credible job on this song. He's a great singer & actor who loves to perform. U2 is a phenomenal band with phenomenal songs. It's like comparing Breyers Natural with Ben & Jerry's - both terrific doing what they do. I think it's admirable that Clay would take on such a big song. Both he & Bono are almost more well-known for their humanitarian endeavors than music, so that's something they have in common - huge hearts & the will to do something about the world's troubles.

Fantastic concert -- I was there --- Clay can sing anything! Check out his Timeless Tour songs. His voice is just beautiful on Bring Back My Love, his new single. New CD "Steadfast" will be released in March. You go, Clay!

Your a U2 Fan. That's all you hear, and all you want to see. Open your mind, and recognise that a new talent is amongst us. I grant you U2's artistry, but this is also artistry, which must be observed without former influences/

What a fun concert -- and a great opening. I was there! He was amazing -- and he still is. I know of no one else who can sing the variety of songs that Clay sings.

OMG, now I know where Hugh Grant got the inspiration for his character in "Music and Lyrics"! Not a completely awful performance, but the Barry Manilow mannerisms and cheesy articulation arent working.

Absolutely!!! I'm just glad I haven't eaten yet or I'd have a terrible mess to clean off my keyboard. Clay's alright for Broadway-type music, but certainly not classic rock.

That's the first video I've ever seen that would have made Liberace step back and say "Nope...too gay."

oh fuck that was bad. He just disgraced one of the greatest songs ever written. Clay Aiken shouldn't touch this song ever again....he can't sing U2 songs- there is too much passion in Bono's vocals for Aiken....Oh shit...that was disgraceful.
