From the 80's breakdance film 'Beat Street'. I had the soundtracks on vinyl but I sold them about 10 years ago like an idiot. This along with 'Breakers Revenge' by Arthur Baker were my two favourite tracks from the movie and I remember breakin' to them at youth club. My crew and I would try and copy all the moves from the battle at the Roxy!!! I recently tried to do a windmill after a few drinks at Christmas for old times sake and nearly ruptured my groin!!!!

Anyway I managed to track this down on MP3 recently and the hairs on the back of my neck tingle when I heard it again. I now frequently drop it into my sets and it always seems to go down well. I'd like to dedicate it to the DJ Tutor Jonathan (aka Ellaskins) for all the help his videos have given me.

classic break down part at 2:50. I remember when DJs used this all the time back in the 80s. ....pretty amazing multi-layered instrumental parts. sounds a little like Tina Marie -only funkier.
