This is a laid-back club version of the song neither the singing nor the music is going to sound the same as a full-on production as found in his other clips on this site. However, he's not singing out of tune or even badly, just softly with little or no vocal effects. It's a great version of the song and I'd also forgotten at what a great guitar player he was. Don't see singers doing guitar solo's like that very often these days.

are you kidding me? I like Christopher Cross' music but this is the worst i've ever heard him sing- you have to admit, if this was a bar band doing this cover, they'd be booed off the stage sounding like this. And yes, I can sing this song better than Chris. Not 30 years ago, but now.
