Excellent backing vocals and sensationally smooth R&B bass playing by Cetera, as usual! Danny was a great songwriter, as well as a monster drummer.

Love that! And listen to Pankow blowing one of his amazing mad-rhino jams at the end. Damn, I wish the sound quality was even just a little better...

I'd hazard a guess that this is the only footage of this line up playing this song live, given it was only released a year before Kath died. Obviously the footage has suffered through age but you get a sense you are watching gifted musicians. Amazing performance, and one of my favourites of theirs.

I saw Chicago live about 7 years ago. Still had the same polish and "sound" as the 70's. What a fabulous sound. Maybe something similar is out there now but I haven't heard it.

One regret is not seeing the best Chicago line up from 1969 to 1977. Seen a lot Rock N Roll legend singers & groups from the 1950's & 1960's but Chicago is on the top of the list.

1977 was indeed a sad year personally for me. My Grandmother died in April and my Great Grandmother died in December of that year. Of in music the real day the music died August 16th,1977 when Elvis Presley died. Bing Crosby died shortly after. Groucho Marx died on August 19th. Finally 1977 marked the full year Terry Kath was alive and recorded an album with Chicago. It also marked the departure of longtime manager of every album since their debut album in 1969 William James Guercio. Chicago.
