I think it's so short sighted to refer to Tom as a "rhythm guitarist"....it's almost an insult. Clearly it's a bass..doing what bass does..hold down and guide the tune..and he does that rather well I think. And this is the man responsible for what we now know as the 12 string bass guitar. I'd be lost today if I didn't have one and use it. Such an overlooked bass player...ain't that a shame.
