Back in late1979 or early 1980 my buddy played a cheap trick on me (pun intended). He asked me if I wanted to check out this cool local band that was going to be playing at a bar near where we lived in Palatine, Illinois. It was a band called The Nielson Brothers. I said hell yeah.When we got to the bar the sign outside said, Appearing tonight, The Nielson Brothers. We're standing in the bar near the front of the stage waiting for the band to come on. When the band appeared I screamed, "That's not the Nielson Brothers that's Cheap Trick!" Everyone in the bar screamed really loud. They proceded to play every song off their brand new album Dream Police plus some of their other songs. After the concert was over my friend just grinned cuz he knew all along that Cheap Trick was going to be playing that night. It was an awesome experience that I'll never forget. :-)
