i've recently acquired the necessary licensing to do a legal release of my version "star," a song that was written by manny charlton and dan mccafferty from the rock band "nazareth."

"Star" was originally recorded for "RUBY" the 40th Anniversary Nazareth Tribute CD that was being compiled by Manny Charlton, original lead guitarist and producer for the 70s rock band NAZARETH.

This song was performed in April of 2008 on Channel 10,

W.B.I.R., in Knoxville,Tennessee,and is my first television performance.

"STAR" was written by Manny Charlton and Dan McCafferty from the 70s super band NAZARETH.

Nazareth's orginal version of STAR is available on Nazareth's album NO MEAN CITY featuring Dan McCafferty on vocals.
