Got surprised by the fact that there's no "audio only" version available here.

"Inspire" by Cave In, off their 2003 album "Antenna".

I do not own rights over this track, RCA and SME are the right owners.

Lyrics:

A vase of wilted flowers, for those who've lost their powers

No use in treading water, when there's no air to breathe in

Help me find a way to move on, standing in the way of the sun

Help me find you, you, you, help you find me

Now who inspires you?

The moods are so abrasive, the sound is too persuasive

Curve of the earth has gone straight, shall we go on one last date?

Help me find a way to move on, standing in the way of the sun

Help me find you, you, you, help you find me

Who inspires you?

I'm sorry to inform you, sometimes love can deform you

No time for hesitating, the rifle's cocked and waiting (aimed at me)

Help me find a way to move on, standing in the way of the sun

Help me find you, you, you, help you find me

Now who inspires you?

Laura C and Meao are onto something here. I love Failure and Cave-In, and despite being a fan of their metal influenced space rock stuff, i REALLY liked this album when it came out and still do. It didn't throw me off or shock me with the dramatic change of sound, i just enjoyed it. maybe because in the deep recesses of my mind, i was unknowingly comparing it to "Magnified," and i'm definitely okay with that!

Anyone else notice that this song on iTunes and spotify jumps at the bit where he says "water"? It's REALLY annoying!

This whole record was an attempt to re-make Failure's "Magnified" album. I like it better now than I did when it came out. I used to think it was terrible, now I think it was ahead of its time.
