I introduced a friend to these guys, he introduced me to Skunk Anansie. I would say we are even. I wonder what happened to him? I hope he is happy and healthy. On the strength of this one song I went out and bought the album I wasn't disappointed. I still have it as well as the green record single of "Broken Nose".

"Broken Nose" was the first thing I ever ran straight out and bought on the basis of Internet exposure.

Would you believe I bought the album fifteen years ago, yet never noticed that before? Thanks!

I wonder if the name wasn't one of their problems in making it big. It was a couple of times I'd be listening to them and someone would say, "Who's this?" "Catherine Wheel." "Never heard of her." "It's not a her, it's a them." Too much explaining all the time.

Interesting! I am a fan of both bands but I never made that connection.

I miss these guys. I really hope Rob releases another solo album soon. His last solo album was quite good. It was really an extension of Catherine Wheel.

I saw this band touring this album in '97, when they came to Kitchener, Ontario (where I live)... I think it was in the winter... this was about the time that great bands stopping coming to Kitchener, because a) there stopped being bands like this and b) there were no cool venues left in town.. but what made it even more amazing is that Blur was in Kitchener touring their self-titled album.. I still can't believe I got to see two of my favourite bands back to back in that relatively dead town..

Saw these guys opening for... some group I've completely forgotten... sometime in the early nineties. It was one of those times you're blown away by the opening act and sort of ho-hum about the headliner. I bought every one of their albums at release after that, and couldn't figure out why they weren't everywhere. Easily one of the best bands of the nineties.

@MrJuve71 oh yeah, huge CW fan here, and in my opinion (and after all, opinions are all it comes down to), A&E is better than Chrome. definitely check it out!

@wozefa No disrespect, but do you think it was superior to Chrome? I honestly am not familiar w/ it. This track is amazing!
