I can't understand the reason why wasn't included this beautiful version with the 4CD Box Set or with the Special Edition (2 CD) of Tea for the Tillerman. A real shame.

What's wrong with being called a folksinger? Woody Guthrie was a folksinger and he, like Cat Stevens, is "an artist for all times".

Wow now that's an uplifted version of the Tillerman album!

Update: Look for a worldwide DVD/Blu Ray release of the restored version of this film in 2011. Should include a 75 minutes documentary including interviews with director Jerzy Skolimowski and actors John Moulder Brown and Jane Asher.

I'm usually surprised, when the media brands the artist, Cat Stevens, a folk singer? He uses acoustic-based instrumentation, a lot. But, that's the only resemblance for me. Way back when he was a pop star, I enjoyed his music somewhat. It was not until he looked inside for inspiration, did he really blossom as a recording artist. ... IMO

My bicycle meets Cat Stevens meets Jane Asher (former lover of Paul McCartney)..First time I've seen this film.. wondered why they both didn't get electrocuted in the end?

I saw this movie on TMC Underground like 2 weeks ago. It was the first time they ever aired it. It was at 2:30 in the morning though. I had to beg my mom to let me stay up at that time! Great movie! I heard theyre gonna restore the film for a 2010 DVD release
