This beautifu song reminds me of my junior high school days. Fifty-five years ago,boys in Japan had no choice but to listen to traditional tiresome Japanese popular songs.（中学生だったころを思い出す。あのころの日本には、大人専用の退屈な歌謡曲しかなかった）And then, classy and sophisticated songs came from the US together with such singers as Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Doris Day, Patty Page, Rosemary Clooney,etc. （そこへアメリカから洒落た歌と歌手がやってきた。）Wow! These songs are what I've wanted for so long! I have no idea who originally sang this Hush-a bye, but in Japan, strangely enough, a male, not female,singer sang.Anyway Carol's Hush-a-bye is now one of my favorite songs. Thank you.（これだよ、待っていたのは。オリジナルは誰が歌ったのか知らないけど、日本では旗照夫という男性歌手が歌っていた。いまではキャロルのこの歌が大好きです。ありがとう。）
