You can tell the difference between his older songs and now just how much he has changed. His songs have always stood out for me in a way that the church gospel songs could not. His songs are so much more personal and touching, at least for me anyway.

Oh my, the way The Lord JESUS shows up in Carman, & then in the deepest part of my spirit & not all Christian Contemporary Artist go back for me where i really got feed & lead in Praise & Worship like these 1st 5 albums. So true, that is why I love singing, and to write my own songs, and praying, it is a release talking to God about what's in my heart, how I feel about things happening around me, just to lean on my Heavenly Father's shoulder and telling him exactly how I feel, so wonderful..I learned to trust only my God and not man..Thanks Carmen for the truth, and God bless us all12 years ago
