I liked this song when it came out. I was attending LSU and playing in my own bar band then. I felt then-as I do now- that this song is better than it's techno, 80s style recording. Give me traditional instrumentation. I wouldn't be surprised if Simon yielded to some producer who convinced her that she had to adapt to the times and sound more like Duran Duran than herself in order to sell records. YMMV9 years ago
