Not sure how valid this is, but supposedly Ozzy was spotted at a Cardigans concert years ago (maybe with his daughters?). Given that the Cardigans are Sabbath/Ozzy fans, who knows?

I like it, strangely. Anthrax cover still is my fave, first true metal moment of the 80s for me.

Beautiful delicate music sung by women is just great. I also love the original, but for different reasons, of course.

Kinda like it. I like covers in totally different genres.

In my Black Sabbath loving, and metal adoring opinion, this is just... bad.

Horrible horrible horrible. I don't like cover versions as a rule, but I didn't think anyone could make a bad version but this is it folks. Ozzy would laugh or cry.

I knew the cover before the original, and I must say this cover really improves the original.

Oh man, I love this song. Didn't know this was a cover. Not a fan of whatever the original was, though, it was just cringey.

This is homage. Nina introduced this as "the most serious song ever written in rock history" - these guys love Sabbath. If this gets on person (sic) to think " I like this, think I'll check out the original" then it is a job well done, and perhaps the reason they covered it. (They also covered Mr Crowley and Iron Man if you don't believe how devoted to Ozzy they are!)

Doing Black Sabbath with The Cardigans is like doing Spiderman with Tom Hanks

WOW. Can you believe that I am so ignorant that I didn't even know this was a cover? How'd I miss that one!? Anyway, thanks to those of you commenting. The original is great too. It's amazing how different the two sound. :) xo

Man, I love this! Soft sweet bubblegum music complete with totally sick and twisted lyrics. Sounds a lot like poop till you actually listen to the words.
