i study A LOT of scientific/historic things so i was amazed when i heard him rap because i didnt think rap would ever have a scientific view point. Most of the things that he says are true , but he mostly uses historical allusions as keywords. He is a great rapper and i only wish people would realize how good it is that he does this.

I understand. Yes, thats true. I guess if im not interested in learning, i should just not listen to his music. I understand that. My point was never to diss him or to say he should stop rapping like he does. At the same time, though, he didnt always rap like this. Most of his fans have been supporting him since the beginning, including me. And what made us fall in love with his music is not what he is doing now. C of Tranquility, to me, is his perfect album. Not too "smart", but not ordinary.

Also, if you actually understand most of what he says, you see that he really doesnt speak coherently. He just says a bunch of stuff that really dont make sense, but since 90% of the people dont understand what he's talking about anyway, nobody notices. I love his music, but im just being honest.

You're clearly missing my point. If i start speaking chinese to you, who's fault is it that you don't understand what im saying? Yours for not learning chinese, or mine for not speaking in a language you can understand? The fault would be mine. If i dont care whether or not people understand what im saying, why bother saying it? Canibus clearly cares.

Yes, but thats not the point. If i wanted to learn about that stuff, i'd read a book or study it. I dont buy a rap album for it. Last time i checked, scientists werent buying his albums. Its fans like u and me, and he should take that into consideration when making his music. Im not saying he should stop making smart music and talk about money and women. Im just saying there's a difference between making smart/scientific music and making music noone understands.

Yea, but a line has to be drawn between people not understanding his music, and him simply talking about things that nobody knows about. first, he makes a lot of references that clearly only he knows. second, he makes a lot of references to things that only a select few know. point is, yes, let him do it his way, BUT he has to give the fans what they want. if not for his fans, he would have most definitely "died" after second round ko.
